30 Jun Julie Polette’s Mosaic Workshop October 2019
Julie Polette’s mosaic workshop at the Guilderton Community Hall in October 2019 was a great success and a highlight of Moore Arts activities. Four mother/daughter couples attended – an awesome dimension to a fun and inspirational weekend with Julie. Styles varied from an intricate mandala to bird baths, and a house number, mirror, underwater scenes, dolphin, Christmas tree, butterfly, natural scenes, even a snake! We took advantage of Julie’s wonderful assortment of coloured tiles, beads, buttons, jewellery, chains, and trinkets to decorate our mosaics. Thanks again to Julie, who brings out our creative spirit. Thanks also to Wendy who assisted Julie and gave us the benefit of her more than twenty years of experience creating mosaics.
The Guilderton Country Club excelled in providing delicious food to keep our strength during the two days.
