About the Guilderton Visitor Centre

The Guilderton visitor centre is situated on the Guilderton foreshore in Edward Street next to the Caravan Park, and is open 9.00am to 12.00pm weekends, public holidays and school holidays. It is the small blue building with the Pelican out the front when open.

Guilderton is a nature based tourist town, which lies approximately 100kms north of Perth. Just 8km off Indian Ocean Drive at the mouth of the Moore River makes Guilderton a perfect day trip or stay a few days and relax. There are excellent accommodation options ranging from a campsite in the caravan park to luxury beach houses. If it is to relax with family and friends, kayak down the river, walk, swim or play a round of golf the town has a lot to offer. Guilderton is a part of the Gingin shire so if you would like to explore further there are some fantastic things to see and do along the coast or inland. Come in and talk to one of our friendly volunteers

The Guilderton visitor centre is operated by a sub-committee of the Guilderton Community Association, made up entirely by volunteers. It displays maps, tourist brochures and advertisements for local businesses, along with all the latest fishing, boating and shire publications. It also sells locally made jams and pickles, honey and oil and a great selection of art, gifts and souvenirs. We have┬ásand boards and other handmade gifts made by local residents at the Moore River Men’s shed. Some of our volunteers have made excellent history and walk trail information guides for your pleasure.
