Julie Polette Mosaic Workshop

Julie Polette Mosaics Workshop 5-6 October 2019

Moore Arts invites you to the Julie Polette Mosaics Workshop at the idyllic, Moore River Estuary. We will learn techniques and approaches to creating beautiful mosaics.

The workshop

Topics to be covered: Make a design on a 30 x 30cm wooden board, learn to use the tools for creating your design; glueing tiles and pieces to your work board; learn about grouting; have a finished project to take home. A second mosaic piece using assorted choices of shapes or your “anything goes” design (no grout technique).

On Saturday evening, we will meet for an evening meal at the Country Club.  This is optional at your own cost.

Guilderton

Guilderton is an ideal weekend retreat located on the Moore River Estuary, 90kms north of and less than two hours’ drive from Perth.  Accommodation is available at the Caravan Park or in private houses via AirBnB, STAYS or local estate agents.

The Country Club

The Country Club will be our base for the two days.  We’ll enjoy the hospitality of the Club, delicious morning and afternoon teas, plus a nourishing lunch.  On Saturday you are invited to join Julie and Moore Arts for an evening meal to relax with your fellow artists after a stimulating day.

Program
