Members and supporters are invited to attend the 2026 Annual General Meeting of the Friends of Moore River Estuary.

FOMRE continues in its mission to protect the ecology and beauty of the Moore River estuary.

Since its rezoning from Rural to Urban in 1994, we have opposed plans for a suburb at Moore River South. After many twists and turns in the planning process—and observing the rapid urban expansion around Two Rocks—we have come to recognise that the creation of a National Park may be the most effective way to protect Moore River’s estuary.

Join us to learn more about this and other initiatives, and how you can be part of protecting this unique environmental asset.
