4 Wheel Drive Vehicles Damage – Guilderton

This recent photo shows that the owners of these 4 Wheel Drive Vehicles have a huge disrespect for the Moore River Estuary!

The ‘no vehicles’ rule is for the protection of the river mouth and the sand dunes, as well as for safety issues.

Nesting birds, crabs and other ‘tideline’ creatures need protection from vehicles.

Please show some respect for the beach and sand dunes at Guilderton, also for the young families visiting by staying away with your 4 Wheel Drive Vehicles.

Registered bikes, quads and trucks are allowed in parts of Wilbinga and north of the groyne, but not south of it and certainly not on the sand dunes.  Also, Lancelin has an Off Road Area for 4 Wheel Drive Vehicles.

The photo below shows the damage caused by 4 Wheel Drive Vehicles on the dunes south of Guilderton.
